"Fair dinkum" isn't swearing, Jess! ::)
In Australia, it's usually used as an exclamation (like "Goodness gracious") and translates as something like "It's the truth."
It can also be interpreted as an indication of exasperation, such as, "Fair dinkum, mate, you take the cake," which roughly translates as, "Well, goodness gracious me, my friend, you certainly are a major wanker" ;)

The sun dial answer really is surprising! Thanks for the fun game David. :)
And, thanks Kerry for the explanations of Australian slang. ;D

Yeah, thanks Kerry for explaining to Jess......I was just gonna let her think it was cussin, cause to try to describe all the meanings of fair dinkum was too much to go into.
Something us Aussies are good at.....using one word to mean many things.

I thought the rest of the machine(?) could be for converting/calculating the time to different time zones. Oh well, no lamb this time.
*dang*, David, you know how much I want to have a whole flock, so I can convince my hubby we need to hire some sheepherders ;D
