For the record, I found this old thread in Culture Tent called "The Lovely Kate Mara" http://bettermost.net/forum/index.php/topic,8797.0.html

But, it's not really precisely the same thing as a Kate, Kate, Kate thread.  I do think it would be a good idea to start one.

In the process I discovered that she's only 4 years younger than Heath was... kind of fascinating to think of them playing father and daughter.

And, yep, Kate's related to the founder of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
