How to sticky a thread - equality for all

Hi Everyone,

If you have a thread that you think is sticky-worthy (meaning, worth keeping at the very top of the page for everyone to see first), either because it's extremely timely, or will affect a lot of people, or is just really worth that special spotlight, you can ask a moderator of the forum you want your thread stickied in to do that for you.  Most threads only stay stickied for a couple of days at most, but that is usually enough time to get the point across.

We try to be judicious in the usage of stickiness, but want to share the ability with all.  Anyway, I wanted you to know that your threads, too, can be stickied.  Just ask a moderator.
