Sheyne and I went to see Candy today.  Can't say much as I am still in a state of speechlessness.  Intense and disturbingly realistic.  The cast were stunningly believable. Heath gives another character absolute life.  A definite must see in my opinion. Don't go expecting laughs because there is only ONE!

And yes Meryl, there's a glimps of flesh!

Someone told me that you guys won't see it until September. Definitely heavy going, but worth the ride.

Okay so it was an Iggy Pop song but same sort of deal....

Ray's right, its a heavy piece of cinema. Coupla scenes have seared themselves onto my brain and will stay there forever, but Heath is typically brilliant. So is the lead actress, Abby Cornish, who more than holds her own against our Oscar-nominated lad. I have to say though, I'm very glad Heath is dark-haired in this... if i had to see Ennis Del Mar shooting up, I couldn't stand it...  :-\

Definitely worth catching. Not for the faint-hearted. Heavy drug use, junkie themes. Heath's bottom.  ;D Worth the admission price alone...
