Our friend jpwagoneer1985 (Mark) is in town visiting, and that means we get to have fish tacos, authentic ones!! Yay!!

Fish cooked in beer batter is a popular take away meal here in Oz, but we usually have it with chips...deep fried potato wedges.

But I've never seen them in a taco.

Did you make fish tacos for Cinco de Mayo? Here's an interesting recipe from the defunct Gourmet Magazine which apparently lives on in ghost form on the Internet. I would cut back on the mayo/crema by half, but, then again, it IS cinco de Mayo (or was)!

Haha, never seen this thread before!

I love fish, but I've never heard of fish tacos until now.

Seems complicated to me, why not just eat the fish and the other stuff on a plate?

Love fish tacos-all Mexican restaurants here serve them. White fish, cabbage, salsa, maybe avo or guac
