Yup! That's the correct answer Clyde! :)

Do you want to post a movie quote now?

Clyde-B:
Sure.

"You sure you know how to use that thing?"

"I saw Gary Cooper in "Sergeant York.""

Nevermore:

--- Quote from: JudgeHolden on October 08, 2008, 02:07:10 am ---Apocalypse Now ;D.

Drawing a blank here...The Big Lebowski or kingpin. I got this picture of Jeff Bridges in my head.

--- End quote ---

Not even close. Jeff Bridges? What a macabre picture, considering that the character who delivered the line was a rather foxy female. Is that enough of a hint for you? All right, here's another one--she was not played by Scott Glenn (in drag).

Nevermore:

--- Quote from: Nevermore on October 07, 2008, 03:23:37 am ---"You never fuck me and I always have to drive!"

--- End quote ---

Is from Drugstore Cowboy. SO you are correct, AJ, though using the imdb is cheating, especially since I had a theme going with the Keanu/Van Sant connection, viz:

--- Quote from: Nevermore on October 07, 2008, 03:28:12 am ---
#1 "All you do is fuck my mother and eat her food. Motherfucker! Food eater!"

#2 "Look, Mike--sandwiches!"

--- End quote ---

#1 is from River's Edge, Dave got it right away.

#2 is from My Own Private Idaho, so AJ was right though I bet he let his fingers do the walking again.

I'm going to resist the temptation to imdb it---I think this is some 50's sci-fi, so I'm at a disadvantage, though I saw a lot of sci-fi kitsch by osmosis back in film school when I did my workstudy as a projectionist. Um...The Day the Earth Stood Still?

No, but you're sampling the right vintage.

Another quote:

"There are no enemies in science, only phenomena to be studied."
