Right were I sat there was an inscription on the rocks: "1873-1900 CHH" I wondered what could be behind it, someone sanctified a life with the written word in stone, enought of it to make me wonder a hundred and six years later:

Wow, Truman...nice pics...keep them coming when you're recovered. Wouldn't it be fascinating to know the story behind that inscription?!!
I've been to Bar Harbor a couple of times - hiking mostly, but also some beach time. I think I tossed a stick for a yellow lab where you're standing there on the each. I have special memories there, so it's one of my sacred places.

Thank you for sharing this shot of yourself, Daniel. You look every bit the poet you are...so the Yeats comparison may not be too far off!
