(( Having walked slowly, a long and meandering route to ALMA's apartment, all the while pondering what to say and how to act towards her ))

((Mounts the stair up to the apartment door))

Hello?

((Knocks on the door timidly))

Alma, are you there? Hello?

((Knocks once more, not so timidly anymore))

Alma?!?

((Bangs on door))

Arad-3:
ALMA~

((Knocks on Monroe's door. No answer,  keeps knocking))

Monroe!   Hello! Are you there?  Hello!  It's Alma, I need to talk to you! Monroe!?

(( Alma turns the knob and the the door opens))

%% I wonder where he could be? His cars out front so he can't be too far.  I'll just drop the cookies off anyways! 

(( Alma goes into the house))

MONROE!!

(( Alma walks into the living room and notices all the pictures on the wall))

Oh good pictures!  I love pictures!  I should'nt be doing this but...

((Since the babysitter has taken the kids out for a stroll, nobody answers the door))


MONROE:

Despondently gives up banging on the door and treads the steps back down, draggin his feet all the way.

((Sits down on the bottom step, leaning head in hand))

** This is a strange place....there are strong vibes here that set my whole body and soul a-hummin'. I wonder why? Did something powerful happen here? I wonder if Alma's ever noticed? **

((Decides to rest there, and wait a spell, just in case))
