((Looks up at the moon with an irritating glance, lights a CIGARETTE, drags on it.))

%% You don't think I'm already doing that? Look sister, it's been a long day. Had a fight with a horse (a very pretty horse, mind you), saw Ennis playing with ropes and leather, and that's not a sight easily put aside, been herding sheep most of the day and they wander off in all directions, heard a mule bray something that was almost musical, and dealt with the rapid ascension of night. I'm thinkin' of him. I'm thinkin' of him! I don't have to make everything that obvious, do I? %%
