((In the few short gasps for air in their embrace, Jack is able to mumble out his earlier request which had been muffled by lips crushing down on his.))

**Don't forget... yer s'pposed ta hum.**

((Without much thought beyond that, Jack leans his head against Ennis's neck and shoulder, closes his eyes, and lets himself drift off to another time and place, caring for nothing except for the awareness that he was wrapped in the arms of the most beautiful being he had ever laid lies on. One who he could tell loved him, but had so much difficulty expressing it.))

LauraGigs:
ENNIS [initially surprised at Jack's brazenness]:

Um, you mean that — uhh — special kind of hum I sometimes do down on you when I'm drunk?

LauraGigs:
ENNIS [realizing what Jack is referring to]:

((  Smiles.  ))  Oh, yeah.   


((  Rocks a little in the sparklight.  Breath coming slow and quiet.
Closes his eyes, and lets himself drift off to another time and place — concerned with nothing except providing a warm, steady heartbeat for his little darlin to lean against.  ))

Mmm mm-mmm, mmm mm-mmm mm mm.

Daniel:
Meanwhile, back at the production tower...

((Laurel Sparta is lost in a deep meditative communion with the producer, but finally looks up, disturbed by the wild pecking at her window. The sound editor Diablo squawks loudly.))

Laurel Sparts:

**Yes...? Oh, I got lost in my thoughts for a moment. I....**

((Laurel listens to Diablo's high pitched squawking for a moment, apparently able to make sense of it.))

**They didn't!!!**

((She rushes to the balcony and overlooks the production lot herself.  She booms out in a terrible voice.))

**TO YOUR STATIONS, GENTLEMEN. THE NEXT SCENE WILL BEGIN SHORTLY.**

Daniel:
OVERZEALOUS MAKE-UP ARTIST

((grabs up another fake Jack moustache and quickly paints glue on it, ready to apply to Jack's rejuvenated face and age it by several years once again.))
