((Jack is quickly grabbed by henchmen gaffers as the OVERZEALOUS MAKE UP ARTIST approaches him with the cursed moustache.))

**Oh, c'mon now. We just got the flashback started.... we gotta little more time by my reckonin'.**

((At the OVERZEALOUS MAKE UP ARTIST's dumb smile, Jack quickly loses hope.))

**Or maybe not.**

((Jack lets out a huge sigh as the moustache is reapplied to his upper lip.))

**Well, see'ya round, Ennis.**

Mikaela:
DO-DO the PRIESTETTE:


(( At those words of JACK's, solemnly and slowly steps onto set, long mystical robes flowing, and amid swirling mists of fate and foresight strikes the sacred GONG OF DESTINY forcefully only once: ))



DOOOOOOOOOOOOOO-OOOOOOOOOOOOOM


(( The deep long-lasting din reverberates through the PT and shakes every single performer and performance past and present to their very deepest core ))

(( Shaken, shivering, shocked and stirred, the PRIESTETTE stumbles off set, entirely forgetting to bring the sacred GONG with her. The HIGH PRIESTESS may have a thing or two to say about such carelessness in the very face of fate! ))

Mikaela:
DO-DO the CLUMSY PRIESTETTE:


(( Stumbles back on set to retrieve the left-behind SACRED GONG OF DESTINY ))


%% Oh most holy FNIT! What is this I see? %%


** A mystic portent! A symbol has magically appeared on the gong of fate! Clearly this is a message of importance from the Powers-That-Be! **

(( Scratches head reverently ))

%% What can this mean? %%

(( Relieved sigh ))

** In any case, it probably was fate that made me forget the gong in the first place! I'm off the hook! No more doom and gloom! Let's hope the same is true for JACK and ENNIS! Now off to meditate and to interpret the meaning of this! **

(( Grabs  Lifts gong and speedily rushes  carefully carries it off to be examined and revered ))

(( Peeks out at departing ENNIS from within the shadow of the tall trees, GONG OF DESTINY firmly held and cradled: ))

** That sound was intense! I'm still shaking! Good thing ENNIS takes care to only keep horses with a sky-high startle point these days.**

((Nods))

** He sure doesn't want anyone else than him to get lucky with his lil'darlin. :) **

(( Realizes))

** Uh-Oh. The gong would have made JACK's original LSPM jump so high, she still wouldn't be back down with us on earth!**

(( Inadvertedly looks up to scout for flying horses ))

((Shakes head at self and, still in hiding, turns carefully to catch another little glimpse of JACK ))
