Where is everybody from?
Amber:
I'm from Spokane, Washington ... which I answered on the poll as being in the "west" ... although us Washington/Idaho/Oregon people refer to our geographic location as the Northwest *lol*

Welcome To Bettermost!
I "fixed it" for you! :)
The poll now says West/Northwest!

I think Newfoundland is a world of its own, sometimes. Especially with our weird twilight-zony half hour difference from the rest of the world. ::)

I was in Newfoundland once. We had to stop in Gander to refuel on our way back from Spain.
I didn't see much of it though. It was about 1:00 in the morning, in March and very, very cold!
...and most of us only had light jackets to wear.
They didn't use the jetway for some reason, and so they taxied the plane about 200 yards (600 meters?) from the terminal.
It was COLD!! :(
We deplaned, stood in the airport for about 90 minutes and then continued on to Indianapolis.
I wish we could have seen more. I have always heard Newfoundland is a beautiful place. :)
Sheriff Roland:
200 yards = roughly 198 meters you were thinking feet (600 feet = roughly 198 meters)
You'd be surprized how many young Canadians don't know this! (there's only about 3 inches difference between a meter and a yard - the meter being longer)
And I thought somebody wanted to know :-\
