What's for breakfast/lunch/supper?

Another thing that's in those Spaghetti-Os besides salt is sugar. The tomato sauce is really sweet.  :-\

I think once your system gets used to beans, the digestive issues diminish. But also when using dry beans be sure to soak them overnight.

I make beans fairly often and haven't had a problem. There used to be a product called Bean-O that I think came in the form of pills you could take to avoid gas issues. I don't remember ever having tried that, though.

I have an air fryer I bought impulsively for $75 from a guy who was using one to make food samples in a grocery store. I didn't use it for a long time but now I use it pretty often. It's a way to heat things without heating the whole oven. I use it for reheating breaded chicken, for example. And it's great for heating cold pizza, which gets gross in the microwave. I just now used it to heat leftover "veggie tots" (like tater tots except other veggies) for lunch.

It's still around. I noticed it on the shelf at the CVS a few days ago when I was looking for generic Pepcid.

I don't bother reheating it. I just eat it cold.  ;D

Today for lunch I had something I haven't had in a very long time: a meatloaf sandwich.

I used to love cold meatloaf sandwiches. A few days ago I was in the butcher shop, and I noticed that in the cabinet where they keep the lunch meats, they had a meatloaf for slicing. They don't typically have this, so I had the clerk cut me a big, thick slice of that meatloaf, and today I used half of it to make a sandwich.

No joke, their meatloaf does taste like my mother's. The only real difference is that my mother always put diced carrots and diced onion in her meatloaf. The butcher shop meatloaf had no carrot or onion. It did, however, have a toping of catsup, which my mother also put on her meatloaf.

As I've said before, I usually have an egg for breakfast. But now that egg prices are so high, I'm interested in finding alternatives. Yesterday, I had pasta with vegetables (tomatoes, shallot, parsnips, parsley) with parmesan and chicken broth. It was pretty good. Have any ideas?
