Austin Nichols who played Bobby's older brother was in The Day After Tomorrow with Jake. Did anyone know that?

Sad that a film like this is still needed.

It sure is still needed though. There is no doubt about that.

Feeling bad for Jeff right now.
I hope we dont make him feel like Bobby felt when he went to David's parents.
I hope we are not like Bobby's parents.
I am glad D didn't do anything.

I can't imagine you being ANYTHING like Bobby's parents Jess!
My parents put me through hell when I first told them I was gay. And ironically it was in 1982, about the same time Bobby did it. I remember it was 1982, because I told them about a month before my grandma passed. She died in November of 1982.
I'm watching it again Paul, so I still have it on! :)

--- Quote from: DavidinIndy on January 25, 2009, 12:03:32 am ---If Bobby was 20 when he died and he died in 1983, that would make him roughly the age of many of us. I was born in 1962, so I would have been 20 or 21 at the time. Probably 20, since it looks like he died during the summer and my birthday is in September.
What happened to Jess and Paul?

Yep, you are right about that David. That was one reason why I was trying to figure out when it was cause lots of what they were showing looked very familiar as well as the music.
