I thank all of you, incredibly, for your happy birthday wishes. Your cyberspace greetings mean so much to me, you just don't know. In terms of actual physical gifts, I received:
wine glasses, including the new trendy "stemless" wine glasses
a new robe (from mom)
a lovely scarf that my sister bought me in Amsterdam
a CD: Live at Leeds, by the Who from my daughter (Hannah and I are major Who fans and I had the album back in the day)
from my husband: "The Erotic Writer's Market Guide." Hmmm, not sure what to make of that since he has not read my story (but has let me read it to him).
Anyway, thanks guys for a very very happy birthday it is appreciated....
