Prop 8 Boycott - No MILK for Cinemark or Century Theatres!

<< < (2/3) > >>

retropian:
Somewhere there is a list of business/corporations who donated to yes on 8. Andrew Sullivan had a link to it, but it seems to have been taken down. Does anybody have that list? I'd like to make sure I'm not spending money with a business who are opposed to my civil rights. In these harsh economic times, loosing business is particularly painful. Ironic that a bad economy may make boycotts even more effective than they may have otherwise been.

Brown Eyes:

Heya Eric,
I just wanted to say thanks too for posting this letter and letting us know about the situation with these theatres.  That letter really is pretty powerful and well written.

The only source I know of is this:  http://www.sfgate.com/webdb/prop8/

It's not a very user friendly "list"...  Is there another "list" out there?

fernly:
Thanks, Eric, for posting those excellent letters and letting us know about the boycott. I'll be passing the info along.

Here is a complete list of all Cinemark, Century, CineArts, and Tinseltown theatres to avoid in the future:  http://www.cinemark.com/tspage.asp

Thank you!

Fortunately for me, only three theaters in the whole of the State of New York. But--lots and lots  in California (also Texas)--

What a lot of nerve!

Thanks again, Eric, for the info--very important!
