Your anniversary is even earlier than Leslies! :)
I wonder if we have Brokies here who saw it directly on Dec 9th (I know it was a limited release). Makes me think of Rontrigger over on IMDB and his frequent and far commutes to see BBM in theater. If he's still on TOB?

Thanks, Chrissi.
I think it was only in two or three cities (NYC, LA, ?) on December 9, so it's conceivable.
I even know someone who saw a sneak preview in November 2005.

This is the one I have ;D
Meryl:
I know John Gallagher saw BBM on December 9th. I saw it on the 10th.
I don't think I'll buy the TDK DVD, though. I wasn't that crazy about it, and I'm sure it will be on cable a lot.

I'm ambivalent, Meryl. I would buy it, for completion's sake, to have the Compleat Heath Library. Perhaps, to view selected scenes, from time to time, rather than to dig into the film as a whole. It doesn't look like the extras are Heath-ish.

Am I bad or what? I never made it to go and see The Dark Knight, but I wanted the DVD since I do have most every movie Heath made. I just wasn't all that wild about seeing Heath play the Joker. I would much rather see him play Ennis ;) And for the award it would be great if Heath does get it, but it seems strange somehow that he could get it for The Dark Knight and not for BBM. It just goes to show that many people thought more of him after he died than before. It's a shame.
