It was wonderful!  I got axed from my contract for not being able to work due to the accident, one of my ribs worked loose, I got stuck in a terrible traffic jam on the way back from the doctor and my landlady returned home and told me how terrible I was for not paying her an extra month's rent for January so she doesn't have to have a tenant during the winter when she's home.

On the positive side, I did get the formal offer letter, the medication is working and I got my food shopping done.  Tomorrow I think I'll make myself a birthday cornbread!
