block after seeing a guy sitting on a place like that on our first trip by.  When we came back around, we saw the police

and a group of onlookers gathered on that sidewalk near the same place, after we got parked, and came back there...

we found  out he had lost his balance, and fell backward off the rail to the cement parking lot below, and died.  I get

terrified every time I see something that brings that back to mind...I am so glad you are safe....hugs..jan

It's not as scary as it looks in the photo, Janice. There's a narrow bushy verge just on the other side of the fence, before the cliff drops away to the reef below. If I'd have fallen backwards, I probably would have just been ensnared in the tangle of undergrowth growing there.   :D
