ABCDEFG
HIJKLMNOP
QRS and TUV
WX and Y and Z
WX and Y and Z
Now I know the alphabet

--- End quote ---

That's good!  :D

Or maybe we could say...

....WX,Y and "Zed"
Now that this is in my head,
it's time for me to go to bed!   :(

Pretty bad, huh?

I think I liked yours better!  :)

Helen:
Zed here!

Now what about the letter J.

In Scotland it rhymes with I  but in the rest of UK it rhymes with K.  What about the rest of the world?

Uuuuuh, bad  ;)
But for 1:58 am (if this is your time zone) it's near ingenious  ;D

Becky:
ZED here, well in the UK atleast. I remember when I was little I got told off in play school for saying Zee instead of Zed. Cause I had learnt the alphabet from Sesame street and other American tv shows. Even now I have to think about it, I guess that just shows that I think I am American. ;D

Rack up another American 'zee'.  Common expression "Zee like in Zebra".

What do other countries use for clarifcation?

I guess it's kind of like the letter W....

We don't say 'double-u-indow' for window.

I don't know Delalluvia. It's a good question. :)

I thought about it more David and it was a dumb question. Duh.  In the States we say 'Zee as in Zebra' because Zee sounds like our pronunciation for the letter 'C' (See), so we have to clarify.  If you say 'Zed' it doesn't come close to anything else in the alphabet.
