Great pictures, Kelda!! That landscape looks almost like West Yorkshire where I spent some time as a student. Makes me want to put on the hiking boots immediately!

I guess I should learn to appreciate more that I live in a beautiful country!!

The 95 miles in 6 days was a beuatiful stretch to walk along.

It was fun but tiring! And what with the good weather in Scotland for a change, I have very very tanned arms!!

(But I have plenty of insect bites to compensate!!)

My friend Susan got bad blisters but still mange to outpace me when walking! She is a fast wee thing!! (but then she is due to do a marathon shortly – so I guess that’s not surprising!

My knees are playing up.. I think they kept going over the walk but not are realising they worked too hard but apart from that I’m blister free etc!

Wonderful pictures, Kelda!  I'd love to do something like that.  Those mountains and hills remind me of the part of western New York I grew up in - the Finger Lakes region that was formed by glaciers - but are just much more so.  Beautiful.
