Mikaela:
Oh yes, I agree. That image especially is stunning - so symbolic. Wonderful. :)
(Though my inner Lureen was making a mental note about contacting the interior decorator ASAP for the latest in biologically compatible photographic wallpaper! ;D Didn't dare post that in the thread though for fear of breaking the spell that has been building to perfect pitch with these recent images. )
welliwont:
Well I'll tell ya Mika, oops! I mean Mikaela ;), I used to be of that persuasion, thinking that certain scenes (tent scenes *koff koff*) were too sanctified to be shared with the hoi polloi. Boy was I wrong! :o :-X I'm sure your post would have been great Mika Mikaela. :-* :D
Ellemeno:
Laura, we love you! :)

I want to praise Laura's images of Ennis and his memories painfully making his way up to Jacks boyhood room! This was very well thought out. Your posted images triggered a thought that many of the images we see during Ennis's visit to the OMT homestead can be directly related back into the earlier parts of the film. I don't know if anyone else noticed this, probably someone else has and I 've since forgotten.
Right away I noticed not only the stairs relating to the climb up the mountain, but also Jack's gun on the rack made me remember the rifle the boys killed the Elk with, and the whole set up with OMT "interviewing" Ennis reminded me of Aguirre "interviewing" Ennis and Jack back in'63.
:)
