I have just heard from Shea again, they had a case conference with the Medical team and this is what he said:
the doctors dont believe he'll make it. they were finally honest with us and said that they never seen someone with meningtis as progressed as his survive it. they dont see a way back from this. its already put him in a coma and they said its very rare that even with all the medications for someone to come out of the coma alive.
