SFEnnisSF:
Maybe there will be Easter Eggs on a future DVD release.  You know, the one with the deleted scenes and the Cast's commentary, music videos, Making of special effects, etc...  ;D

LOL Roux ..
There is at least one store around here selling BBM for $5.99 !  Excellent time to get multiple copies for gifts .. Thing is, I don't have any friends who would actually care to watch it if I bought it for them .. ::), so ...

About the Deluxe DVD, I'm sure I'm going to get it .. not right away though.

Calling Tom Hanks!

Jeff Wrangler:
OK, I just found this in this morning's Philadelphia Inquirer and had to share it.

The Weekend section of the Friday paper always includes an article on new DVD releases, and this week's article included the two-disc collector's edition.

The article also includes the old-chestnut photo that we've all seen a thousand times of Heath and Jake leaning against the pickup. The caption for the picture reads:

"Heath Ledger (left) and Jake Gyllenhaal play shepherds who fall in love in 'Brokeback Mountain.' ..."

"Shepherds"? Maybe technically accurate, but--whatever happened to "the Gay Cowboy Movie"?

I dunno...I hear shepherds and think middle Eastern garb, a star in the heavens and a so-called virgin in a barn.  Where do two gay guys fit into that?  Oh wait...the three queens bearing accesorizable gifts.
