Tell ya what...we're doing a Brokie Brunch in NYC

Shiny happy people laughing
Meet me in the crowd
People people
Throw your love around
Love me love me
Take it into town
Happy happy
Put it in the ground
Where the flowers grow
Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing
Everyone around love them, love them
Put it in your hands
Take it take it
There's no time to cry
Happy happy
Put it in your heart
Where tomorrow shines
Gold and silver shine
Shiny happy people holding hands
Shiny happy people laughing
What pictures! Lovely!

Oh John, and Oh Yaadpyar, you have no idea how much it means to me to see this song's lyrics, and particularly from YOU, John. Reminding me what's important, how precious this life is, and how wonderful our community is (which I've been neglecting). Thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you.
I feel the love and it feels good!
Pipedream:
Hi everybody! :)
Better late than never: at last I had a chance to wear one of my New York Brokie Brunch T-Shirts and have some pictures taken of it!
Boy, what a day it was! We (me, my husband and my little girl) kicked off our very own hiking season today, packed a rucksack and walked up the "Feuerberg" near our home. Blue sky, mild summer temperatures and the air so crystal clear, you couldn’t get enough of it! After that awfully long, cold German winter and damp spring I just wanted to drown in those rich colours and the view from the top of the mountain. Elating!
And, of course, my memories of that incredible New York adventure were with me today. I had to smile at the thought of it. What different worlds we live in! And, yet, how connected we are!
I often think about you lovely people. Today was one of these days that I felt: life can't get much better than this. I'm very grateful.
Yours
ANKE :-*
EnnisLovesJack:
Anke - what beautiful pictures! Make me wanna get out and find me some nature, too.
Your daughter is so adorable!
Lumière:
Beautiful pictures Anke!! :)
Look at all the green and the blue sky! *sigh*
The weather here has been cold and rainy ... hope we'll get some sun and heat soon! ;)
