Just finished reading the 3 new chapters you posted and they are wonderful. Thanks for continuing this although I know your schedule is crazy busy. Never would I have imagined canon Ennis in the environment he is in but I think you did a marvelous job of easing him into it. Between the long-distance phone calls from David and encouragement from Jack I think that helped Ennis a lot and made it plausible.
To anyone who hasn't read this story or read the current chapters, hurry! Go read them now.

Yeah, that's why his daughters and Mrs. Twist all had to move away, and his job had to bite the dust! ;) This isn't somebody who makes changes easily, even with other-worldly help.
Thanks so much for your encouragement. :)

Hi Marge,
I am flying in to Duluth on Friday - do you think I will see David or Ennis??
:)
I hope I don't get the same sleep affliction, lol....
Well, I'm sure I won't, as my journey ain't nothin like Ennis'.
I like the quote you picked for your signature!

If you do, ask them how they keep that lake house warm in the winter! :o And if you see anyone who can act as a "Duluth beta," let me know. Pictures of the Park Point neighborhood, details about the first gay pride event in Duluth in the mid-1980s, the whole brouhaha about I-35's route that resulted in the Lakewalk (according to the Historical Society)....

I work a 3/12 schedule (3 days, 12 hours each) and I sometimes get a similar affliction at the end of the work week - not exactly the same source.... ;)

Thanks - too many of us settle for beans too often....

Yikes, this took me 3 months???
Chapter 20 is up, and as the note on top says, it's a transitional chapter. The next should be out within the next week. Will also be posting more pictures of Ennis' new setting.
