River without the bridge. Dozy embrace trees visible on the left.

Where the bridge used to be.

Jack's washing board. This is exactly where is was washing the shirts. Nature remembers...

Heath flowers by the two dead trees

Sason:
Thank you so much, mouk, for doing this for us all!!!!   :-* :-*

The pictures are just wonderful! It feels a little strange to see the place covered in snow, but it looks so much more serene and peaceful that way. Very appropriate for the occasion.

It's wonderful that you actually live in the area (relatively speaking), and can keep an eye on the site like this.
You're our in situ Brokie!  :D

So sad about the bridge, though.  :'( :(

And kudos to Mr mouk for being so supportive!

Thank you.
For making this trek.
For taking our love and our thoughts with you.
For bringing flowers.
For the photos.
For your words.
For the love you have for Heath,
and for Ennis and Jack
and for your fellow Brokies.
Just - thanks.

chowhound:
Thank you, mouk, for posting these arresting photographs of Brokeback in winter. I found the one of the flowers on the snow especially moving.

Peter John Shields:
Thank you Mouk.
