Mikaela:
Oh, what dedication to the Brokie cause!

I'm very impressed - and in token I'm raising a virtual glass to you both:

SKÅL!

and part Scot!

(But I'm the same hisley - bleugh.. Jenny (newyearsday) and I had a whiskey cocktail when she came over to visit to celebrate being a Brokie but we didn't want a second one!

But the cherry sounds nice - maybe that will cancel out the whiskey!  :D

southendmd:
Thanks for the toasts, all.   :)

In fact, Meryl and I had a Broketail last night whilst watching The Movie.  It certainly added to the experience.

I used a bit higher proportion of cherry last night, and it was fine!

I know poor excuse, but Brokies would surely celebrate with whiskey, whereas any Scot would have a wee dram of whisky. Not that I like either, even the smell makes me feel poorly !

serious crayons:
Yum! I like the dash of cherry -- it's like a single cherry in a cake. Did you try bean liqueur and elk liqueur and find they just weren't quite right?

I didn't use to like whiskey much, but Brokeback turned me into a whiskey-drinker.
