Beautiful moon last night, too. If you looked really close, you could see it was the teeniest, tiniest bit off of "full."

Jeff Wrangler:
The weather reporter on our local NBC affiliate said this evening that tonight's full moon is a "super moon."  ???

And so is next month's full moon.

I guess I ought to look that one up, "super moon," I mean.

Allow me!  ;)

A super moon occurs when a full moon or new moon is closest to Earth and comes within 224,834 miles of us, which will happen six times this year, according to earthsky.org.

It wasn't as bright for me last night, clouds and such, but it was big.

Thanks! It wasn't as clear here last night, either, as it was Friday night. But it was cooler.
