How do you sleep?

(1/2) > >>

Katie77:
I saw this poll on Facebook the other day and for the first time I realized that most of my life I have always put one leg under the sheet and one leg over the sheet, when I  get into bed. It was something I did unconciously, and never had any idea that a lot of other people do the same thing.

Of course this is usually a summer thing on a warm night, when blankets are not required.

It would be interesting to hear your answers and why we do one or the other.

CellarDweller:
I always sleep with both legs under, sheets or blankets pulled all the way up to my chin.

Kerry:
I voted "Other" because it all depends on the season for me. In winter I have both legs (and the rest of me) completely under the sheet and doona (duvet). On those really hot, sticky, February nights, I can't stand any covering on me at all, not even a sheet. I've noticed that sometimes in the in-between seasons, when it's neither hot nor cold, I often push the doona down so it's just covering my lower legs and feet. The position of my doona appears to change throughout the night, which I seem to do while I'm asleep.

I voted 'other'.  I sleep with both legs under the sheets - unless I get too hot, at which time I slide one leg outside the sheet so as to let off excess heat.  Then I cool down, get more comfortable, stick my leg back under the sheet and go to sleep.

Shasta542:
Both legs under with socks on my feet. Long pj pants, sweatshirt--sometimes with a t-shirt under that in the winter. With a cat and a dog cuddled wherever they'd like.  ;D  Summer--Same except t-shirt instead of sweatshirt. I might start off with no cover, but I wake up with cover.
