Sason:
Today I invented a new literary genre, The Ficmerick!!    ;D 

It is exactly what it sounds like, a combination of fic and limerick.

This is how it goes:

Write a limerick about anything Brokeback. In one of the lines the name of a BBM fic should be included.

That's all there is to it. You can either write the whole limerick by yourself, or just one line and let others take up the challenge, like in the limerick thread.



Here's the world's first public BBM ficmerick ever: (I suppose)

If you know the name of a BBMfic
put it in a limerick, that'd be terrific
We could have a really good time
thinking of fics and trying to rhyme
Like now, when I mention Union Pacific

Sason:
Said Aguirre, "I'm doing this out of human interest"
and put his binoculars down to rest
"Stemming roses is all they do
both forgetting they should be herding sheep too
New shepherds next year, that'll be for the best!"

Sason:
Next year Aguirre was looking for another shepherd, somebody new
Into his trailer stepped Jack, out of the blue
"Twist, this is just a waste of time,
out of ten days you stemmed roses in nine,
Ain't got no use for someone like you."

Sason:
One night in Childress, Jack thought he was dreaming
He saw Ennis approach him, his face was beaming
"Jack, I've had it, enough is enough
We'll do the cow and calf, or any other stuff
When I'm not with you my life has no meaning."

Sason:
The roots of the problem is the fear in Ennis's heart
He doesn't know what he wants, he's torn apart
Be with his girls, or saying yes to Jack
Stay where he is, or start to pack
No matter how much he thinks, he can't come up with anything smart
