This is just my observation but look at both of their faces.  Totally different expressions.  Jack looks so happy and calm.  Ennis looks confused but also a look of relief.  Jack accepting, Ennis willng but maybe not so much acceptance.

Actually, I like the rotating of the picture because the line of their noses makes a Yin-Yang symbol.  :)

Yin-yang? I thought it was a circle, half black and half white, each half with a tail dovetailing into the other, and in the center of each half, a tiny citrcle of the other color..../no?

Brokeback Mountain is so a great movie, so wonderful, :) I love them(?) or it(?) :-\
