Of course, that only applies to people who write the date that way.  Don't Europeans and Asians write the date with the day FIRST?

April 5, 2006 would be written as 05/04/06?

that is true. In Thailand, they don't even use the Christian years. It's the year Two thousand Five hundred something now.

We on the underside of the planet have to wait another month given we date  ss.mm.hh.dd.mm.yy
