I wonder what it says about a cable TV series with gay characters playing their roles without camp?  Then again, in "Six Feet Under" Michael C. Hall played a pretty un-camp gay character, and so did the boyfriend.  I wonder if that's the Alan Ball effect, the producer of both shows.
