I hope he knew how much he was loved.

I was telling Kelda earlier about Virginia, and in our little cabin right before the election, Rich was pretty well the only conservative there, and how we declared there would be no politics intruding on our idyllic weekend.

And it didn't.  It should always be that way.

I just wrote on Chuck's blog, this sad day reinforces for me the lesson I learned when my mother died: Never EVER pass up an opportunity to say "I love you" to someone you love, because you never know when you might lose the possibility of saying it to him or her again.

Sure enough.

Lynne, the line under your avatar seems particularly good right now.

Took me over an hour to find it. But I was glad to look for it. Gave me the illusion of doing something when nothing can be done ........

Thank you for finding the picture Chrissi.  :-*

And it is comforting to see all those names up there too. Strength in numbers, or something like that. There's nothing we can do except to sit here, hope and pray.

Terrible, heart-breaking news. Rich and I never met in person, but we shared a lot of the same beliefs, and we PM'd them mostly. We have been talking since the old IMDb days. Wow. And not so much lately, but I kept up and knew that he was happier now than ever in his life.

He is a wonderful man--beautiful inside and out.

All consolation to Elizabeth, the light of his life, and to Gene, the love of his life.

Bless you Chuck, Truman, Paul, and all his friends and loved ones. I know you are devastated. As we all are that this has happened. I'm so sorry and will keep my prayers going up.
