Front-Ranger:
I think that's respectable. LAOD will definitely improve through word of mouth. It will make money and besides, that's not the important thing: critical acclaim by film critics, scholars, and dedicated filmgoers is the thing.

cmr107:
I actually just saw this today, which inspired me to mosey on over here and see what Brokies thought of it. :)

I think I'm a little surprised it was even advertised as a romantic comedy. It definitely had those elements to it, but all those reviews are right. It's not typical.

And WOW, Jake and Anne's chemistry!  :o

Monika:
I wanna see it NOW

Went this evening to see Jake's and Anne's new movie.  "Love and other drugs."  I
think it is the best movie he has done since BM.  She was spectacular, and he was awesome also.  The story was well written.  The chemistry between them is still quite
obvious.  The seem to belong together.  Its a pity that they aren't.  I did not notice the
amount of nudity to be too overly apparent.  Certainly not anything that did not fit
totally in the storyline.  Of course, its hard to go by me.  Nudity is not something I have a problem with at all.  Specially when its an integral part of the story.   In short I loved it.
I think it deserves Academy and Golden Globe notices.
