Love all these pictures so far! The name Bamburgh rang a bell with me. I recently posted a picture of the Green Man at Bamburgh...but it's the Bamburg Cathedral in Germany. I wonder who Bamburgh was...he really got around!

This is a picture of Bamburgh Castle in Northumbria, (the north of England). We visited it recently on holiday. The castle and beach are just stunning.

The Bamburgh Castle looks like a great place to explore. I looked up a website and it had virtual tours of the rooms of the castle. Very beautiful picture.

I have another pic to share, two rather. The sky this morning around 8am. The second pic is taken a few minutes later and the light already started to change from pink to orange.
