That's what i really like about it - I can't afford to travel to all these far flung destination so until I can - I can live vicariously through it! and like you say its interesting to see their reactions to these cultures and the natives reactions to them.. and see the scenery, sights etc.

love TAR!

ABSOLUTELY!!

I love to see them in like marketplaces and all...cause you know all those people are not actors and the stores are not sets...that is really the way that country IS...

just FUN!

Did you see the first one? I fell in love with it when they went to Victoria Falls...

Kelda:
no!

I've only seen 6 and some of 7 (although i know who wins 7 as I looked up the recaps on some website)  as its shown once a week on a sunday afyternoon on a cable channel in the UK called Living.

But I am addicted.

We have just got a new laptop which as I speak is being connected up to the web. I intend to spend the weekend downloading TAR from the beginning on to it! and I plan to download the new series asap as I can evry week so we can have a good old natter!

If that makes me a moron? well, I never pretended to be real smart myself....I watch TV for entertainment.

Good Lord no that's not what I meant.  I completely understand how entertaining these shows can be, and there are some I do watch, like AR and Top Chef.  My observation was pointed toward the shows themselves, and the contestants who try to ride that 15 minutes way too long.

You are so far from being a moron it isn't funny.  Please accept my apology.

I know you weren't...I was doing the tongue in cheek thang!! LOL!

I ain't EVEN mad...   No need to apologize!! We are all good!

(sorry if I went too far, I have done that before!)

 ;)

-Edit - fixed Jess' laugh...

The Amazing Race is the BEST SHOW EVER!   :D

I love it !  love it love it!       I even loved the family edition where they stayed in the United States only.     There is so much beauty right here, yet it was one of the unpopular seasons I heard.   Oh well.  Can't please them all I guess.

I also like Survivor.  Haven't missed a season yet.

MTVs Real World can be interesting too.  Plenty of horny eye candy there!

I am also in serious withdrawal from LOST right now!    :(
