Hey Kerry, drop us a post just as soon as you finish Chapter 12 and let us know how you liked it. I'm sure you will like it, but Chapter 12 is a very serious (for lack of a better word) chapter. We find out more about Ortiz in chapter 12. We also find out the depth of Hinestroza's cruelty.
I'll stop now because I don't want to post any spoilers. But let us know how you liked it, okay?

Why, thank ya, Lynne. I originally posted the Brokeback Prayer at the Cult thread and have received feedback from Meryl. I am about to cut-n-paste Hail Jack and Ennis there shortly, giving due credit to David. ;D
