Those poor whales!  :'(

They both had wounds on them and they needed to return to the sea water so they could heal. And they didn't have anything to eat in that river. I sure do hope they made it back out there.

Surely someone would have seen them by now if they hadn't.  :-\

oh they are sure they went out to sea....just didn't see them do it. They would certainly be noticed if they were still in the river...

Well, I'm glad to hear about this Jess. I was especially worried about the baby whale. They said since the mother and baby swam into fresh water, their wounds wouldn't heal and the baby wouldn't be able to get his nourishment he needed (no food).  :(

I'm so glad they got back out!

I didn't hear about it.

He had a harpoon stuck in him??  :'(  :'(

That's so sad.

Some varieties of whales live a very long time Jess.  :)
