Well, I'll run each chapter past Scott and a couple other people first, and if I get rave reviews from them, maybe I will post it for others to read. But this story was Scott's idea, and I would really like for him to be one of the first people to read it! :)

Here's a picture of this morning's eclipse. We walked outside and checked it out. But the city lights were bright and washed it out somewhat. It's better than nothing though...

This is terrible!
This is exactly why I removed the pull cords from all of my ceiling fans this summer. Something told me to do it, and now I'm glad I did. Because I could easily see my cat doing something like this too. Now, the only way to turn on my ceiling fans is by a switch on the wall.
We can never be too careful when it comes to our animals.
