Is Cody's hair still red, well pink after you put that other stuff on it? He sounds like a punk rocker ;D It would be hard to tell if my Code got red dye on him cause he is so black it might not show up.

I cut it off, so it's gone now THANK GOD!
>:( >:(
It didn't soak down deep into his coat, so I just cut it off and brush the other fur over, so it's not noticable.
Yeah, he REALLY DID look a bit like a punk rocker.... a golden retriever punk rocker. Probably the only one within a 200 mile radius of here. lol

Well I am glad that he got through his punk rocker stage. Now let's hope he doesn't get a mohawk
It is funny how pets can get to what you are doing so fast. I'm always having to keep Code out of things that he doesn't need to be messing with, but he can walk very fast and get there before I know it. One time he was sleeping up on top of the cabinets in the kitchen when he wasn't much more than a kitten. They are pretty high. All of a sudden I heard this sound and saw this pile of black falling fast to the floor. I wasn't even sure what it was at first, but it was Code. He had rolled off the cabinets and had nothing to grab on to. He was going fast to the floor. But he didn't get hurt or anything.

Awww! Poor Code!! :'(
That's actually happened to me before. Once, Alex and I crawled up to a ledge down in my basement. It's probably about 7 feet up off the floor. We climbed up there and *um hum*, you know! Anyway, we both fell asleep up there and at some point I rolled off the side and fell to the floor. I'll never forget that feeling of suddenly waking up as I was falling to the floor. It was awful! It's like those dreams we all have of falling and then we suddenly wake up, except this time it was REALLY happening! And like Code, I wasn't hurt. Just embarrassed.
Poor Code! I'm glad he wasn't hurt. It probably nearly scared him to death though when it was happening! I can vouch for him!
My cat Oreo sometimes rolls off the top of the couch when he's sleeping. Or off the window sill in the living room. I'll place some pillows down there if I see him sleeping in those locations just in case it happens! :)
