I had to break down my computer tonight to go DJ a party. If you check back on #296 I made you a surprise! As soon as I log out all my pictures disappear because they are saved pictures. Didn't you see my witch?? :'(

--- End quote ---

if you will upload them onto Photobucket or some other hosting site they won't disappear! and it saves space on our server...(or so I have heard)

Andrew:
That is a great recreation of the classic image, Geri.  Suddenly I've got that Halloween spirit!

Since the moon is real - the witch must be too! (a thought adopted from Annie Proulx's in her essay Getting Movied, which I have put into my signature line)

Arad-3:
Andrew Thanks. The witch is some image I found on the internet and used paint to white out the background. Kinda neat though! That tool alittle time. Thats why I was so anxious for David to see it!

And Jess. Its such a pain to lose your pictures everytime you log off.  And I dont like to look like I'm logged on 24 hours a day. And now that Im doing the Performance I have to have my pictures up for others to read.  Just how do you download into photobucket?  Is it like a Myspace?

Geri

Andrew:
It's easy.  There are several free image-hosting services like Photobucket, it is just the best known and it is certainly easy to use.  You just go to photobucket.com and create an account (just userid and password).  You upload pictures from your machine to their server (you 'browse' to point to the folder where your pictures are, then 'upload' to copy them to the server).  You then copy and paste the IMG under your picture to your post (that's the URL plus the img at the beginning and the /img at the end), so you don't even need to click that
icon before posting.

There's a lot of other stuff on photobucket as well, I haven't tried the video feature.
