David In Indy:
Thanks Kelda!

A few minutes ago I was cleaning the television screen in my bedroom. I sprayed the screen with Windex and when I went to touch the wet screen to wipe it off I got a huge static electricity shock. It scared me so much I dropped the windex bottle on my foot. I don't have my shoes on and so that also hurt since the bottle is almost completely full. And now I'm scared to touch that TV again! >:(

Maybe if I turn the tv off and wait a few minutes it won't shock me again. That's one of the worst parts of fall and winter, all these static shocks I always get. :P

Well the leaves are falling fast and furious now. In buckets. It's raining leaves! I've been spending the mornings out trying to rake them and keep up with the deluge. And now I somehow went and hurt my arm. I guess I was out raking too much. I keep in shape, that's for sure, lifting weights and what have you. I have very strong arms, but for some reason my right arm is hurting like HELL. It hurts on the top, in between my elbow and my hand, up on top. It must be due to all the constant back and forth motion from the rake, rather than the up and down motions from my weight lifting. Oh my! That almost sounded pornographic! Up and down motions!
Anyhow, I'm going to pop a few vicodins and probably head to bed. And with any luck my arm will feel better in the morning so I can go out again and rake some more! >:( :P
David In Indy:
It's not so bad raking the leaves in the yard. I hate it when they get stuck behind the bushes... which is where most of them go. WHY is that? Maybe because the wind blows them in there. You have to stick the rake back there and then start pulling. The rake gets caught in the bushes, the leaves don't want to come out. It sucks. :P
Shasta542:
Do a pre-rake stretch and warm-up. ;)
