Yes, Chicago is very close to Indiana. In fact it is located just across the Indiana state line...
East Chicago is actually located IN Indiana. Way up at the top northwest corner of the state, by Lake Michigan.
Indiana Beach is in Monticello. Look northwest of Indianapolis on the map and find the label for the Wabash River. You will see the town of Monticello just to the left of it.
Holiday World is in Santa Claus, in Southern Indiana. Here's the map...
Santa Claus is located next to the last "e" in "Evansville". It is not identified on the map.
