I've always maintained the best things in life are free. Hangin' out with folks and friends, bein' yourself and making yourself available, mixed with a pinch of patience, can be a recipe for success (at least I hope so--I'm trying this for myself!). A road trip could definitely happen, though I would probably have to have my sister or mom in tow, as I am currently sans voiture. I think a trip to West Virginia would be delightful, and I understand that there are some definite attractions there (and in Verona in particular ::)!). Lemme see what I might be able to work out (but does our friend know of this tentative plan?).
