Free Address labels for your cards.
(1/1)
CellarDweller:
Here's something for you.
I wanted my cards to be a little more festive, and thought about buying holiday labels. On a whim, I went to Google and searched for "Free Holiday Labels and found a site that lets you download labels for free to your computer.
http://www.worldlabel.com/Pages/holidaytemplates.htm
They have templates for Christmas, New Year's, Easter, St. Patrick's, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah & Valentine's.
Just go to the images that are labled "address labes" and look for:
Download for:
Microsoft Word 97 - 2003
Microsoft Word 2007
Choose the one you want, and save it to your computer. It's easy, and it's a word doc, so you can easily edit the address.

Thanks for this link, Chuck! 8)

Thank you very much for the link, Chuck.
I have been pondering how to get addresses out of the crackberry and onto labels. And whether it matters much if I hand-write them.
I know people have mostly gone the way of computerizing, but I like the ritual of addressing and writing personal notes in cards. With the tree up and some nog or cocoa nearby, music on.
Of course this means that sometimes they don't get done. Double-edged sword.

***shaking my head***
I did just download labels and customize the message and address. :)
The tree is going up tomorrow.
Don't rain on my progress, bud! :P
