Allen Leech also plays a major role in "The Imitation Game." It was hard not to see him as Branson, oops, I mean Tom.  :-\

I felt that way when seeing the Imitation Game yesterday :)

I had a disaster.
Series 4 was on last year when I was in the USA. I was ambivalent about watching it anymore so did not tape it.
Then when Series 5 started here (I think in October) I decided to buy Series 4 and only paid $14.  I taped series 5 while watching series 4 but did miss the first episode.  I finished watching series 4 before Christmas.
I started watching series 5 on Sunday (well episode 2) and thought I was deleting just that episode but I deleted the lot. >:(
All the shops are selling dvds of series 5 for $35 so think I will wait for a price fall.

Mary's other beau, Charles Blake, is played by Julian Ovenden, who happens to be an accomplished singer.  I saw him in "Showboat" and he has a lovely tenor voice.  It will be shown on PBS as part of the "Live from Lincoln Center" series.

Here's Maggie Smith on the Carol Burnett Show in 1975. Forty years ago!
