Cow tongue soup. My mother used to make this huge bowl of green pea based soup served with the entire (already cooked of course) cow tongue floating in the middle waiting for father to carve it up.

I loved cow tongue as a child! We had it with Madeira sauce and mashed potatoes.
Sadly, the dish didn't love me and came back upwards a couple of times, so I stopped eating it.
