CellarDweller:
Well, I was at the Pro Shop yesterday, and I ordered the ball, shows and bag. However, I didn't get the gay pride ball that I wanted.
I showed it to the guy who ran the shop, and it wasn't one that he could get in stock. He told me that if I ordered the ball myself ($160.00) I would need to bring it to him to drill, which would be an additional charge, as well as the shoes, bag, and the taxes and shipping charges for the ball, I could end up spending over $250.00 all said and done.
I found a ball that he could get, and while not gay pride, it's flashy. LOL Purple, orange, and yellow swirls. Three of the pride colors. LOL I also got the shoes and bag, and All totaled was only $150.00, one hundred less that what I would've spent if I had gotten the rainbow ball.
And now, here I am with today's scores.
111 - 96 - 108 - 134 - 114 - 121
Once again, I had a game that was under 100. I was not pleased. I just couldn't focus for some reason, and my score suffered because of it. On the positive side, my highest score was 134, it's been 2 weeks since I've been able to break the 130 mark, so I'm glad to see that.
I also made a killer shot in that high score game!
This is the best way I can think of to describe the shot.
After I threw the first ball of the frame, I knocked 7 pins down. I had left the 1, 5, and 10 pin standing. A difficult spare to pick up. Usually, you can knock over the one pin, which falls to the side, leaving the 5 pin standing, and the 10 pin is too far back from the 1 pin to be knocked over. I still don't know how I did it, but I hit the 1 pin so that it shot backwards into the 5 pin. The 5 pin shot over to the left, taking out the 10 pin. Great spare!
;D

Average is still over the 100 mark, and I hope this trend improves.

Too bad about not getting the rainbow ball, that was so impressive. But the one you did get, with colored swirls, sounds really neat, too. You'll have to post a picture after of it's after it's all finished.

Congrats on this spare, Chuck. :)

I agree, great spare!

Got a call from the Pro Shop as I was leaving work, my bag, shoes and new ball were in as of this afternoon, and all ready to go.
;D
I can't wait to break them out on Sunday! ;D
I'm also curious as to what will happen with my scores. The ball is lighter, so it will have an affect on the way I throw it down the lanes. I wonder if it will go up, or down.
Either way, I'm psyched to try them all out!
Here is the new bag. Behind it, you can see the old bag.
